Join us at the September Science Cafe for a presentation on Washington air quality with Ranil Dhammapala, Atmospheric Scientist at the Washington State Dept. of Ecology in Olympia. His work includes air dispersion modeling, model development and evaluation, air quality forecasting, data analysis, and permit modeling. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Washington State University, and has worked in the field of air quality in the US, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and South Africa for over 20 years.
