Around the world, an extensive network of people and initiatives are working to transform food systems. In our latest report “Beacons of Hope: Accelerating Food Systems Transformation” we profile 21 of these initiatives and present what we learned from them about the process of transformation.

Aimed at food/climate policy advisors, NGO and civil society practitioners and researchers, the ‘Beacons of Hope Food Systems Transformation Framework’ builds on the lessons learned, and the patterns identified across the initiatives. The framework is designed to help users make the case for food systems transformation — inform their transformation process and help identify key areas for support or change. More broadly, the framework contributes to on-going, global discussions about sustainability transitions and food systems solutions.
