Monday, January 20–  9 AM- 1 PM, OlyEcosystems Work Party–  Come join your neighbors in restoring a diverse, intact, beautiful forest right in the heart of Olympia! This forest provides vital nesting habitat for the Pacific Great Blue Heron, filtration of storm water runoff heading into the Puget Sound, and valuable green space for both people and wildlife. This MLK Day we will be planting literally thousands of native plants and we will be putting the heron rookery to bed for the winter/spring/summer season of breeding. Meet at the Dickinson Trailhead, 1121 Dickinson Ave NW, Olympia, WA 98502.
