SALARY RANGE: $3,293 – $4,214 per month
TYPE OF POSITION: Permanent, Full-time.

This position supports the mission and goals of Department of Natural Resources through the fire suppression and regulation programs. Independently manage, coordinate, plan and implement the Fire Control, Emergency Fire Suppression, and Fire Regulation and Protection Assistance programs in West Jefferson and West Clallam Counties within the Olympic Region. Perform and supervise the professional field activities of these programs within the wildland fire district. Natural Resource Specialist 2’s in the Fire Program will be designated Lead for one of the following areas for the region; Fire Training, Fire Prevention and Forest Patrol Assessment. This position has been designated lead for Fire Training.
