June 19th-July 2nd Begin study program in Taipei, at Chinese Culture University

Start study program in Chinese Culture University. Daily language and culture study and field trips to Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, Pinglin Tea farm, Freedom Hall, night markets, Beitou Hot Springs Museum, etc.

July 2-July 13th

Travel to Ali Mountain, Taichung, Tainan, Kao Hsiung, HuaLian, Taidong, etc.

Study trip to visit YingGe pottery, Ali Mountain, Sun Moon Lake, Ten Drum cultural Village, Xizi Bay, KaoHsiung Love River, Kenting Beach, Eluanbi Light House,  Amis Folk Center, Fugang Geopark, Mataian Wetland Eco Park, Taroko national park, Swallow Guotto, Jimmy Square, Diu diu dang Square, National Center for traditional arts, Jiaoxi hotspring, Hueshan Tunnel,  etc.

9/5 meet for final presentation in Library 2610 for full session students. Class may be asked to meet a couple of times during 2nd session after return from the study trip in TESC Computer Center’s classroom for those who register for 12 credits full session.

Important Date

Prior to April 14th: Notify the faculty of your interest. Place a deposit of $400 at the College Cashier office in the Summer study in Taiwan program account or online payment via no later than May 10 (Please note the extension for the deposit date).
