Travel to Yinge, Ali Mountain, Taichung, Jiayi, Yilan, HuaLian, etc. |
Study trip to visit YingGe pottery, Ali Mountain, Sun Moon Lake, Yunlin hand-puppy show, Water only green agriculture farm, Taiwan aboriginal village, etc. |
July 5st | Travel to Beijing or Shanghai, China, for four week scholarship-aided program | Leave Taiwan to return to US for those who registered for Taiwan only summer program. Those who are awarded scholarship will continue to travel to Beijing or Shanghai, China, for additional 4 weeks study trip. |
July 6th -Aug. 21 | 4 weeks of program in Beijing’s Beijing Institute of Technology or East China Normal University in Shanghai. | Chinese language and culture classes and cultural sites visits. Visit the Great Wall, Tian’An Men, Forbidden City for those who are in Beijing’s BIT, and 2 weeks home visit and study @ Shanghai’s East China Normal University. |

9/5 meet for final presentation in Library 2610. Class meets every Saturdays for 2nd session after return from the study trip in TESC Computer Center’s 2610 room between 9am and 1pm for class seminar and presentations for those who register for 8 credits full session.
