TYPE OF POSITION: Permanent, Full-time.
Under the supervision of the Design and Construction Engineer, this position manages the bidding, award, and closeout of public works contracts for Public Use, Natural Areas, Aquatics, Forest Roads, and Facility construction/
maintenance; and provides support to Project Managers during construction. Using engineering principles and experience assess project feasibility. In addition to the contracting responsibilities, this position is responsible for the design, specification, contract preparation, and compliance of assigned fish passage structures. This supports DNR in fulfilling its mission by providing professional level engineering to ensure that all regulations are followed and that each project is done in a manner that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the DNR.
