Tumwater Falls Park

Come see hundreds of adult Chinook salmon returning upstream to the Deschutes River. Stream Team Salmon Stewards will be on hand to answer questions about the fish. This is a fun, free family event!

Volunteers over the age of 12 are needed to staff shifts in the Stream Team booth. Volunteers are especially needed for afternoon shifts. Volunteers will be assisting youth in creating salmon-themed arts & crafts projects. Great opportunity for high school students needing community service hours! Each volunteer will receive a free Stream Team tee shirt.

Volunteers may choose any time and length of their shift. Just drop Debbie an email at dmsmith@ci.tumwater.wa.us or call 360-754-4148 to let us know what time you’re coming to volunteer! Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers can be found on the Stream Team website at www.streamteam.info . There will also be paper copies at the event.
