Here at the Climate Parliament we’re reaching out to different corners of the globe to ensure that legislators are pushing for ambitious climate policies. We are launching new projects in China and Latin America, extending programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa and building our Global Team based in the UK.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

China Programme Coordinator: Based in Beijing, this role will be responsible for kick-starting our work in China and building a support structure for members of the National People’s Congress (NPC) involved in developing climate and energy policy. Deadline: October 13th 2014. Click here for the full job specification.

 

Tanzania Programme Officer: This position will support our dynamic cross-party group of MPs in the Tanzanian Parliament to seize key policy moments to catalyse renewable energy investment in the coming year. Deadline: Monday 27th October 2014. Click here for the full job specification.

 

UK Programme Officer: With a focus on developing our donor network, the UK Programme Officer will play a lead role in fundraising as well as supporting colleagues in other regions to deliver parliamentary events and activities. Deadline: 27th October 2014. Click here for the full job specification.

 

In addition to the specific role requirements we are looking for candidates who have a strong commitment to taking action on climate change and promoting the global transition to renewable energy.
