GIS Professional – Seattle, WA

Provide leading geospatial technology support for our federal clients within the National Government sector.

The Geospatial careers will provide you with the opportunity to work on a broad range of consulting projects with a focus on supporting our DoD clients. You will work as part of diverse environmental project teams including scientists, engineers, and planners to assist our clients. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of geoprocessing and spatial analysis tools within the ArcGIS environment, be able to leverage data driven pages or other methods for automated map production workflows, follow and be able to describe examples of best practices for data management (online and offline), demonstrate cartographic capabilities that can efficiently convey the desired information in a map, and be able to produce web maps and applications from existing map formats. Key Skills and abilities for this Environmental Geospatial Professional Position:

• Provide senior GIS support, strategy, and delivery for environmental remediation GIS needs.
• Have strong skills in geographic information system (GIS), hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information.
• Demonstrates senior level cartographic, data management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with geodatabase design and creation
• Experience creating, editing, converting, and managing GIS data
• Strong knowledge of topology, projections, and cartographic principles
• Experience with SDSFIE
• Experience with mobile data collection, process, and management
• Have significant experience with Esri suite of software, including:
o Desktop: ArcPro, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcScene
o Online: Portal, ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder
o Apps: Collector, Explorer, Survey123, GeoForms
o Server: ArcGIS Server, REST API, SDE
o Other: Insights, Operations Dashboard, ArcGIS Python API
• Have the ability to work in a team environment and lead junior technical staff on medium to large sized projects
• Develop and implement project plans and work assignments, ensure product quality, on-schedule, and on-budget completion, and safety.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• B.S. Computer Science, Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Geography or Land Use Planning
• Directly-related discipline with 5-7 years of experience in environmental applications of GIS.
• Experience with Trimble Pathfinder, TerraSync
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
