Come be part of the team in the CRC by working in The Outdoor Program’s rental center. This is a hub of activity on campus with a fast-paced, fun work environment. These are NOW PAID POSITIONS!

As a rental center attendant, you will help customers select outdoor equipment to rent, take payments, answer questions, help with trip and clinic sign-up, learn to perform basic repairs, and have a chance to leave your mark on a growing campus program.

Students with or without work study are both encouraged to apply. Priority may be given to work study students.

If you love working with people, want to serve your campus and community members, and are hard worker with a desire to learn, then you’re qualified! We can train anyone, so prior rental or outdoor experiences are NOT required.

In addition to the duties of this position, there are many opportunities to learn about all aspects of outdoor recreation for those who are interested.

Student employees will learn: effective communication, how to work with diverse populations, equipment repair, problem solving, and how to succeed in a self-directed environment.
