Job Description
The Program Coordinator provides administrative support for the Program Department and is responsible for statewide educator professional development workshops and event/meeting logistics. This position is full-time and reports to the Program Director.

Primary Responsibilities

Workshop and Event Support
 Provide support and logistics for educator workshops and events/meetings
 Develop marketing materials; such as flyers, press releases and social media posts
 Manage online registration platforms
 Provide post-workshop follow up
 Manage participation in OSPI’s WA State Approved Clock Hours Provider program
 Maintain a web-based calendar of workshops and events

Communications
 Work with Communication Coordinator to implement PEI’s social media strategy
 Work with Communication Coordinator to provide support for newsletters, annual reports, etc.
Finance and Administrative Support
 Provide administrative/program support to FieldSTEM Coordinators located across the state
 Process contracts
 Provide logistical support for Program Department travel
 Ensure compliance with record retention policy
 Share reception and telephone duties

Program Resources Support
 Maintain resource inventory
 Process orders and resource requests
 Support updates to program materials

Desired Qualifications and Skills
• Undergraduate degree preferred in related field; minimum 5 years of experience in program administration with a strong emphasis in workshop/event/meeting logistics
• Experienced in marketing programs and services
• Experience with graphic design, website and social media platforms
• Proficient using Microsoft Office 365, MailChimp, FormAssembly, Eventbrite
• Experienced in data entry and/or database management
• Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational/logistics skills
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective writing and communication skills
• Interest in the education field with an emphasis in environmental/natural resource education
• Professional, positive, creative, flexible
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Wages and Employment Information
This is a 40 hour per week position. Wages are $17.00 – $21.00 per hour dependent on successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
