Pycnopodia helianthoides at Clallum Bay

Spectacular example of a local sea star, Pycnopodia helianthoides. Although this species is probably less susceptible to the direct effects of acidification, it could be impacted by losses of mussel beds in rocky intertidal habitats. This individual was spotted during a field excursion to Clallam Bay along the south shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

  1. In this grand scheme of things you’ll receive an A for effort and hard work. Exactly where you lost me ended up being on all the facts. You know, people say, details make or break the argument.. And that could not be more true at this point. Having said that, allow me tell you what did do the job. The writing is actually extremely convincing which is most likely the reason why I am taking the effort in order to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, although I can notice the leaps in reasoning you come up with, I am definitely not sure of just how you seem to unite the points which in turn produce the actual final result. For right now I shall subscribe to your position but trust in the near future you actually connect your dots better.
