VISTAS aims to develop visualizations (across spatial and temporal scales) and software specifically for our three collaborators in their work at the H.J. Andrews LTER.  We therefore post here some of their key publications, which explain the nature of their domain specific work, as is relevant to VISTAS developers and others who wish to understand VISTAS functionality.
